About the Recipe

A quick "on the go" breakfast or post workout boost, this vibrant smoothie is bursting with berries and bold spices to support youthful skin, brain function, and immunity. It is an absolutely delicious way to fight free radicals and help reduce inflammation.

Ingredients


  • 1 cup frozen mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) Any berry will do!

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • a pinch of ground clove (clove is very high in antioxidants, but it can overpower your smoothie if you add to much)

  • ½ tsp nutmeg

  • ½ tsp ground ginger

  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seeds

  • 1 scoop of protein powder or collagen powder of your choice

  • Optional: handful of spinach or kale



Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy, add water at this point if smoothie is thicker than your desired consistency

  3. Pour into a glass, sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon on top, and enjoy!
